Microwave Radio Manager

• Managed crews across multiple time zones, responsible for every aspect of a MW build, from LOS and site surveys to integration, and real time network monitoring and emergency response, from minor alarms to critical outages.

• Deployed resources to market, built and installed all MW communication components, as well as installed and configured radios to FCC specification, and provisioned switches and routers, while communicating timeline with customer, and ultimately prepared closeout documentation on time and well within budget.

• Proficiently troubleshot and repaired L1-L3 network equipment and connectivity failures, including VLANS, LAGs, cabling (fiber, coax, STP/UTP), XPIC, space/frequency diversity, adaptive power/modulation.

• Performed routine maintenance window work from 11p-5a, generally alone, collaborating with engineers and other technical staff when needed.

• Familiar with a variety of radio platforms and GUI interfaces, including Nokia, Ericsson, Cerragon and Aviat technologies and have worked for many major carriers and ISPs, including Verizon, AT&T, TMobile, and Frontier, as well state, government, and federal agencies, municipalities, solar agencies, towers owners, and private entities.
